Some people say that Hong Kong is worth staying 3 days, then you've seen most of it. But there is so much more to see than just the Peak and the Peninsula. This week end we visited 2 places very interesting: the "Cattle Depot" and "Nan Lian Garden".
Cattle Depot Artist Village (牛棚藝術村) is located on 63 Ma Tau Kok Road, To Kwa Wan, Kowloon. The site was originally used as a slaughterhouse from 1908 to 1999. It was renovated and developed into a village for artists in 2001. It is now home to around 20 art groups in Hong Kong. The Nan Lian Garden is situated at Diamond Hill of Kowloon, taking in the full view of southeast Kowloon. Designed in a japanese way, it's a relaxing gateaway from Central.
